S.U.iT.S is a boutique consultancy and urbantech integrator, founded in 2013, by Rafi Rich, to utilize a wide range of innovative tools to improve the city's capacity to be resilient, inclusive & competitive, by disrupting existing tools of urban governance, and by engaging city stakeholders through new processes, data & technology.
Since all cities are not the same, and since most of the existing tools and processes were designed for the large and resourceful cities, SUiTS has created new "smart city" models, focused on creating opportunities for midsize and secondary cities throughout the globe, as well as the emerging cities of the global south.
Rafi Rich, has over 20 years of experience as an Architect and Urban Planner, while also serving as an ICT & Communication Commander for the Israeli MIlitary. In the past years, Rich acted as Senior Director for Building at the Israeli Government and was one of the founders of the Israeli Green Building Council (ILGBC). Currently, he is also a professor of urban planning & the Executive Director of the Jerusalem Center for Urban Innovation at the Hebrew University
